BAFAB - a reminder

Only 40 hours left to tell me your fabulous plan for 2007.

Update:
Following a suggestion from Susan I am going to invite votes for the best plan - I suppose I'd better make that once the deadline is past (midnight(GMT), 14th January). I think I'm going to need all the help I can find.

As a general guideline, voters should award votes based on whether the plan involves pigs, sheep and daredevil excursions to the South Pole.

Hey, Clare. Try putting a MajikWidget poll in your post: http://www.majikwidget.com/mw/index.php

They're quite attractive and work nicely. It's a good way to get voting underway.

Thanks Debra - I'll try that when I put up the post.

And Scott: yes, I was of course, going to suggest that - but there will be extra marks for the more exotic farmyard animals such as camels. And komodo dragons.

That's just being silly, Clare. Dragons and cames like the hot weather. Pigs and sheep are ideal.

Sheep and Pigs? Baaah, humbug - the Norse tried both these animals in Greenland and look what happened to them. Camels, on the other hand, have their own food supplies in their humps, have long eyelashes to keep out snow storms and anyway ARE good in the cold (think of the desert at night). Dragons I am going to have to think a little more about. But quite clearly Dudman is not at all silly but an innovative (if misunderstood) genius and I am going to invite her on my next expedition - just as soon as I acquire the funds.

But everyone knows that sheep positively flourish in Australia and New Zealand, which is to all intents and purposes the Antartic. Greenland and Iceland are as good as on another planet. Even you should know that, Shackleton. And the notion that the desert is cold is enough to make one laugh. Which I just did, and spilt my cocoa. Your jealousy of my abilities, Shackers, leads you down some ludicrous paths.

Scott: The voting is tomorrow night. As a gentleman I would just like to wish you the best of luck. Although it is more than you deserve.
