After nailing additional joists along the floor, Hodmandod Senior has cut Eco Wool to fit
and then covered the whole lot with additional padding(an attempt to reduce noise)...

Thanks Maxine. Unfortunately plans have had to be revised - the padding is too thick for the wood.
Aw heck - these things are never straight forward are they? Wishing you well with the project and ta for the updates - I am very interested.
Clare, it all sounds very exciting! I am also planning a writing shed for myself in the garden, but we have to dismantle the "rockery" first which is proving to be rather a lot of work. I am impressed with the Eco Wool, looking forward to seeing the finished product.

this is coming along so beautifuly!! I can't wait to see the finished product...right now my cats would love to sleep on that floor, maybe me too!!
