A question of emphasis
I woke up this morning realising that one of my minor characters isn't, in fact, terribly minor after all, and therefore am going to have to go back, almost to the beginning, emphasising him a little more. And his wife...dammit. I am hoping this will just require a little tweaking.

Don't you just hate that? I have a character in the novel I'm writing who insists on opening his big mouth and and then I have to go and write all about the stuff he blabbed about. Jeez! :-0
Barbara - yes, phew...time yet. There's comes a stage where you just have to give it up though, isn't there?
Sue - Ugh, I hate having a voluble character. I find verbose dialogues so difficult to pull off convincingly.
This feels very symbolic of something greater, how in life sometimes we overlook the significance of a certain person. And how sadly when we realise its often too late to make room for them, or to go back and appreciate them.
